What is the Trajectory / Travel Insurance?
The Trajectory / Travel Insurance is your safety partner on the road, providing all the support you may need in case of unexpected events during the trip, such as lost luggage, medical, pharmaceutical, and dental expenses, among others.
It’s that peace of mind guarantee to travel with more security and savings!
When you purchase the insurance, it covers the entire travel period on the bus, from departure at the origin point to arrival at the destination.
Please note that this service is provided by our partner Universal Assistance. We facilitate the purchase, but Universal Assistance takes care of everything.
How to purchase the Trajectory / Travel Insurance?
While booking your ticket, you will see the Travel/Route Insurance selection. Just keep it selected for each traveler and proceed with your purchase by filling in the requested details. This insurance is exclusive to trip bookings and cannot be purchased separately.
I purchased the insurance. Now what?
You will receive the insurance policy by email for each traveler.
If the trip is a round trip on the same day, a single policy will be issued per passenger. If the trips are on different days, each passenger will receive 2 policies.
Remember: purchasing the insurance is optional, but we highly recommend it for a more peaceful journey!
What is covered by the Trajectory / Travel Insurance?
Our insurance covers trips within Brazil for residents, as long as you issue it using your CPF before you head out and your destination is at least 50 km away from home.
What’s included by the coverage:
- Medical and hospital expenses
- Pharmaceutical expenses;
- Dental expenses during the trip;
- Body transportation (medical and fatal), in the event of the insured’s death resulting from a personal accident or sudden illness occurring during the insured trip;
- Compensation for accidental death and total or partial permanent disability due to an accident;
- Baggage loss, providing compensation in cases of total or partial loss of one or more pieces of baggage by the transport company, when the loss exceeds the amount paid by the carrier. In such cases, the difference between the contracted insured amount and the amount paid by the transport company will be reimbursed.
In addition, it offers services such as:
- Legal assistance, ensuring reimbursement of legal fees in case the insured suffers any type of accident that requires legal assistance during the trip;
- Reimbursement of bail bonds and legal expenses;
- Coordination of hotel reservations for a companion in case of hospitalization and recovery;
- Assistance in locating lost baggage;
- Guidance in case of loss of documents and/or credit cards.
Living abroad? No worries! You can set up your insurance in advance using your passport directly with our partner, Universal Assistance.
⚠️ Important: Insurance is not available for people aged 80 or older.
How do I use the Trajectory / Travel Insurance if needed?
If you need to use the insurance, just contact Universal Assistance, who is responsible for the coverage. We facilitate the purchase and cancellation of the policy, but Universal Assistance takes care of the entire process.

What if I need to change or cancel the insurance?
The policy holder cannot be changed. If you need to, cancel the ticket and insurance purchase, and make a new booking with the desired insurance.
To cancel the insurance, simply cancel the booking up to 4 hours before the departure in the "My Tickets" section. The refund will be automatic, following the return period of your payment method.
You can also request the cancellation of the insurance through our customer service channels, as long as you send the request at least 24 hours in advance, from Monday to Thursday on business days. If these conditions are not met, we recommend canceling the ticket directly through the system, which will also cancel the insurance.
